The people of Mexico were lined up along the streets to see the Pope. This little guy thought otherwise.

19 listensAnd I know most of you don’t want to read my boring life problems, so feel free to scroll down and pass this. I won’t mind at all.
School
As most people my ethnicity, someone who has a job in the medical field is always in honor. I applied to the nursing program December 2010. The GPA requirement at my school that year was a 3.88 and I was at a 3.81. Yeah I was pretty upset. So I tried again December 2011. The GPA requirement changed to a 3.869 and I was at a 3.864. I was .005 off. That’s a thousandth of a decimal… a THOUSANDTH. I’ve never been so disappointed in my life. I’m going into my 4th year of college and I haven’t moved forward yet. I’ve been in the same position ever since I started college, and I hate myself. I called the program at my school, they said my ranking was so close that if they were to send out one more letter, they’d send it to me. As much as I want to change my major, I’m too far in, it’s impossible. I’m starting to wonder… when does hard work pay off? Because I don’t see it paying off soon.
Work
I work at an assisted living apartment complex. I work for the “non-medical” part of a home care. Give showers, pass meds, help dress people, injection assistance, incontinence care, transfers, blah blah. The problem is, is that I don’t get paid enough for the work that I do. I’m not certified, and it’s not illegal. the only thing I’m certified in is CPR. I’m private duty, which is privately paid. But the work that I do can get pretty extreme. I took the job for the experience, hoping that it would give me a boost into the nursing program.. but that didn’t work out so well. My school doesn’t take recommendation letters, work experience, or certifications… just straight GPA. And don’t get my wrong, it is great experience, but the money part is illin’ me.
Boy Problems
That ones pretty common in most relationships or friendships I guess. So I won’t go into that one.
Weight
I gave up meat for lent and I lost a good amount of pounds doing so… with the help of going to the gym and all. But since lent has ended, I haven’t been doing so well. I can tell I’m getting lazier. I guess my motivation should be kicked back up again. I’ll work on it.
And I guess that’s it.
